Eating out

The Greeks enjoy eating out   as eating for them is a major thing and it is a real family occasion you will see large families including grandparents and small children all out for a meal together. Restaurants are informal - it doesn't matter what you're wearing as long as you can appreciate greek cuisine, and be prepared to find a variety of them in Sani.

Sani information

Be aware that Greeks eat late - they tend to have lunch at about 2pm and dinner very late at night. In more tourist  places, restaurants will open earlier and sometimes might be serving coffee  and snacks,   in resorts  on the other hand   restaurants  tend to start serving at about 6.30pm. Whatever time you start eating, when you get a table in a Greek restaurant, you  will have the table for the  whole night. Greek menus are always laid out in both Greek and English so you wouldn’t have to worry  it. When it comes to paying the bill ,be aware that Greek waiters are so determined not to put you under any pressure to leave when you've finished that they will never be around when you want to ask for the bill. You'll usually be charged a small cover charge, which covers the privilege of sitting down at the table, but also includes the bread served.Prices  are very reasonable and don’t include a service charge, so if you are happy with the service you received, be sure to include a tip.

Weather

The Sani Resort is blessed with the sun shining all year round and with a rich flora blossoming  each season attracting the attention of the visitors.Having its roots in the ancient town of “Sani”, the Sani Resort is undeniably a natural spa.

Sani holidays

Located on the Emerald Peninsula, the verdant cape of Sani is renowned for its incredible views and its magnificent beaches. Take the chance and visit the most beautiful area of Halkidiki   and be amazed by the area’s natural setting , stunning beaches as well as the peaceful atmosphere.

It is here that the Sani Festival takes place each summer between June and September, where one can take a seat at the natural amphitheatre on Sani hill, below a mediaeval tower -now belonging to a dependency of Stavronikita Monastery on Mt Athos- and enjoy top-class Greek and international acts.
